2019 Hair Trend Forecast
I recently stumbled upon a hair article about this year's hair trends. It's fun to see how many of my guests will be adventurous!.
Here are a few hair predictions, made by top influencers but with my added opinion:
Solid, Monotonus Colors
Balayage isn't going anywhere, but one tone colors are so in right now! It seems that deep, dark colors will have their moment this year. They're bold - and that shine is to die for.
Shag Haircut
The shag is back! This haircut looks best shoulder length or longer. It provides great bounce and movement for almost any hair type. BUT...beware of the fringe. Bangs pull this haircut together, so if you don't like them, this won't be the cut for you.
Warm Dimension
Warmer tones have been on my Instagram radar lately. "Dimension" is a versatile term - it can mean highlights, balayage, or lowlights that are a few shades lighter or darker than your base color. The right shade of warmth compliments everyone. AND: the maintenance is much easier and longer lasting than ashy tones.
One Length Bob
This is personally one of my favorite haircuts to give my guests. It's a timeless, elegant cut that (at the right length) compliments any face shape and hair type. The best part: it can be styled wavy or straight.
